Dr Neborsky’s presentation, “Hysteria Revisited” will address the problem of authenticating recovered memories of parental molestation, an issue which has long plagued the field of psychotherapy. He will explore the technical issues that arise in these cases.The symposium will demonstrate techniques from Attachment-Based Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy with an emphasis on defence work and anxiety regulation to deepen emotional experiencing.
