Summary
This course will follow the format of the acclaimed 2023 course that was presented in Helsinki, Finland on June 9-10, 2023. Topics included will be History of ISTDP from Dr Neborsky's unique perspective as an original student of Dr Davanloo's in the early 1980's. He will also discuss the rise of Attachment Theory and his association with Mary Main, Erik Hesse, (inventors of the AAI) as well as many other Contemporary Attachment Theorists. The Course will emphasize the application of Davanloo's ISTDP to a broad spectrum of patients and focus on the facilitation of earned attachment security. Videos of the treatment of patients from different diagnostic groups along with specific attachment styles will be demonstrated by the faculty.
